Member Spotlight – Neda Jawad, CEO & Founder of Itramei

In this month’s Member Spotlight, we meet Neda Jawad, a bold founder who left behind a secure six-figure salary to solve a problem she couldn’t ignore. Through her company Itramei, Neda is transforming how sales teams and soon, professionals across many fields, develop one of the most vital human skills: effective communication under pressure. With a vision that extends far beyond sales, and a product that brings real-world pressure into safe simulated environments, Neda is on a mission to make practice the standard before performance. Read on to learn more about her journey, insights, and what’s next.

So, tell us about yourself and what led you to set up in business?

I’ve always been driven to do more, to create more, so when I saw the huge gap that Itramei now solves, I had to go for it. Even if it meant walking away from a secure six-figure salary and incredible opportunities.

What are the types of services that you provide, and what problems do you solve for your customers?

We offer simulated environments that train for pressure to hone the skill of effective communication. This means simulating real sales conversations, with AI video and voice, so reps can sharpen their delivery without risking revenue, reputation, or trust. The problem we solve is simple but painful: most sellers “practice” live, in front of customers. That’s expensive. We help them get reps in before it counts.

What makes your company’s approach different from what’s traditionally been done in this field?

The traditional way seems good at first glance, but it misses a critical aspect, which is providing a safe environment to implement what has been learned. At most, enterprises provide high-quality theories, and then they have a one-time roleplay with their peers. The problem? It doesn’t allow for pressure testing.

It’s like having the best coach in the world, but if you never get to implement what’s been learned, then that muscle memory never develops, and things stay stuck in theory.

How scalable is what you are building, and what is the next big step for Itramei?

Communication in sales is just the start! Effective communication is one of the most important skills a human being can ever hone. It affects everything from careers and relationships to how we talk to ourselves.

There are so many fields that would benefit from being able to pressure-test hard conversations before the real event. In fact, it would be viewed as crazy in most domains not to test before the real event.

Just like an athlete in competition who never trained before, someone taking their driving test without practicing, or a developer pushing code to production without first testing it in staging, we all agree that’s insane. Yet that’s how we’ve been treating communication skill development so far.

To summarize: sales is just the starting point, and the next big step is to bring this to everyone trying to uplevel their communication skills.

How do you stay inspired and motivated to run your business?

When you wholeheartedly believe in what you’re building and have a strong “why,” clarity and momentum follow. To me, motivation is a byproduct of doing the right things consistently, not a prerequisite. This means not waiting to feel motivated, instead act on what works, and the results will reinforce the drive.

What one piece of advice would you share with other members on how to overcome business setbacks?

Always remember the big picture. Things can feel major in the moment but be meaningless long-term. At the end of the day, it’s how we perceive it that determines the experienced outcome. All setbacks are either lessons, a window to a greater opportunity (where the dots only get connected afterward), or an awesome story.
