Delighted to introduce Ekaterina Voznesenskaia, founder of MindCare, a holistic wellbeing coaching business helping individuals and organisations build resilience, manage stress and reconnect with a greater sense of balance.
MindCare began in 2021, during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, when Ekaterina set out to create a supportive and empowering space where people could slow down, reconnect with themselves and nurture their wellbeing. What started as a wellbeing project incorporating meditation, Qigong and poetry has since evolved into a distinctive coaching practice that brings together evidence-based psychology, traditional coaching, mindfulness and creative self-expression.
Today, Ekaterina works with clients in Ireland and internationally, offering one-to-one coaching, employee wellbeing programmes and mindfulness workshops for children. Her approach goes beyond conversation alone, using practices such as mindful movement, poetry and creative writing to help clients explore emotions, reduce stress and develop greater confidence and emotional balance.
In this Member Spotlight, Ekaterina shares the story behind MindCare, the daily rituals that keep her inspired, the importance of having a strong support network when running a business, and a few of her favourite hidden gems around Dublin.
So tell us about yourself and what led you to set up in business ?
In 2021, during COVID, I decided to create a supportive and empowering space where through gentle wellbeing practices like meditation, Qigong, and poetry, people were able to reconnect with themselves and find balance during turbulent times. Around the same time, I began publishing articles and poems focused on wellbeing, self-development, self-care, and motivation. Throughout the past 5 years my wellbeing project MindCare has evolved into a holistic wellbeing coaching business that integrates evidence-based psychology, traditional coaching, mindfulness and creative self-expression.
What are the types of services that you you provide and what problems that you solve for your customers?
I provide comprehensive mental health, stress management, and personal development services in Ireland and abroad. In addition to traditional action-oriented coaching methodology, I use mindfulness, Qigong, poetry and creative writing as the tools to help you connect to your emotions in a gentle, safe and non-judgemental way. I offer 1-1 Coaching Sessions to help people manage anxiety, build resilience and emotional balance, grow confidence, gain bigger clarity in life and navigate life transitions. Also, I develop and deliver employee wellbeing programs and mindfulness for kids programs.
What makes your company’s approach different from what’s traditionally been done in your field?
Standard life coaching relies mostly on verbal dialogue, and traditional mindfulness programs rely mostly on guided meditations. MindCare bridges traditional coaching, mindfulness, and art. In my work with clients, I integrate mindfulness, Qigong (meditation through somatic movement), and creative arts (poetry and creative writing) into structured coaching sessions. This allows clients to dissolve stress, find inner peace and harmony, and build emotional balance faster than through conversation alone. MindCare offers a unified methodology adapted across three pillars: personal 1-on-1 coaching, 1–6-month corporate programs, and kids’ mindfulness workshops.
How do you stay inspired and motivated?
My morning usually starts with a lovely meditation, a warm-up, and a glass of warm water with lemon. This helps me get grounded and connected to myself for the day. I find time for creative work like writing and making jewellery out of natural stones. This process gives me a lot of inspiration and new energy. Finding your own daily rituals that bring joy, elevate and inspire you is very important. Having my own routine and structure, knowing myself and my needs, helps me stay motivated. I keep exploring and discovering new meaning and purpose in every moment, being grateful for life.
What one piece of advice would you share with others on how to overcome business setbacks?
Surround yourself with the people who believe in you, and when it gets too difficult, they can tell you “Don’t give up, you will make it!”, or “Believe in yourself!”, or “You will make lots of failures, but just don’t stop!”. This way we feel less alone in our challenge, and feel supported. Either this is a family member, a friend, a colleague, having your support network is very important when running your own business. I remember I had the time when I thought if I really needed to continue with my business (things were quite challenging with the rent costs and expenses), and my granny kept asking me how my business was going. There was no way I could tell my granny that I gave up.
We are never alone. There is always help and support.
Share your hidden gem about Dublin
Dublin has a few amazing places which I adore. Herbert park, a very peaceful, beautiful, quiet place. Sunday market in Herbert park is just so great. Near Herbert park, there is Happy Out café, they have the most delicious coffee I’ve tried so far in Dublin. There can be other places too, but that’s my favourite! And finally, if after a nice walk in the park and having a cup of coffee you feel like having a dip, Seapoint is a great spot for a quick lovely swim to feel fresh and full of new energ
